Homebuyer Tax Credit Extended and More!

November 5th was a huge day in the real estate world. The United States House of Representatives voted in favor of extending the Homebuyer Tax Credit and also include provisions for current homeowners. In this extension current homeowners who are buying a new primary residence are now eligible for a $6,500 tax credit. Military families also have more flexibility in there timing as well.

Other measures included in the bill are jobless benefits which is a 14 week extension for those who have been out of work receiving unemployment benefits.
